MYGR PROFILE ROASTING & PROCESS CONTROL
MYGR is GARANTİ Roasters’ PC-based coffee roasting automation platform combining roast profile recording, machine control and AI-assisted predictive process execution.
The category, clearly defined
Coffee roaster automation refers to the digital monitoring, control, recording and repeatable execution of the coffee roasting process. It does not necessarily mean robotics or unattended roasting.
With MYGR, operators can develop a roast manually, monitor Bean Temperature (BT), Exhaust Temperature (ET) and Rate of Rise (RoR), control key roasting parameters, save successful roast profiles and use those profiles for semi-automatic or automatic production.
MYGR extends this workflow with AI-assisted predictive processing, using the operator-established profile together with live roasting data to forecast the expected continuation of the roasting process.
GARANTİ technology
The operator establishes the roasting process. MYGR records the roast profile and machine behaviour. During repeated production, the system combines that reference with live roasting data to support repeatable execution.
Roast manually and define the result you want through operator experience.
Capture temperature curves, RoR, DTR, events and machine settings.
Compare live process behaviour with the operator-established profile.
Execute the saved profile with the selected level of machine control.
Predictive, not autonomous
In MYGR, AI-assisted predictive processing uses an operator-developed roast profile together with live roasting data to forecast how the established roasting process is expected to progress.
The system supports repeatable profile execution; it does not independently create the desired roast or replace the operator. The roaster remains responsible for product goals, sensory decisions, profile development and production oversight.
A controlled path to consistency
The operator controls the coffee roasting machine while MYGR monitors and records the process. This is where profiles can be developed and refined.
MYGR follows the saved roast profile while the operator retains selected control decisions and supervises the batch.
On suitably configured systems, MYGR executes selected machine actions against the established profile while the operator oversees production.
Available control and automation functions depend on the coffee roaster model, sensors, actuators, connected equipment and selected machine configuration.
Live process visibility
Track the measured temperature of the coffee mass throughout the roast.
Follow thermal behaviour in the exhaust path and its relationship with the process.
Monitor how quickly temperature changes to understand roast momentum.
Review the development phase as a proportion of total roast time.
Process control
A roast profile is more than a temperature curve. On a compatible GARANTİ coffee roasting machine, MYGR can connect the recorded process with controllable machine parameters.
Specific functions are offered according to machine and project configuration; not every function is available on every roaster.
Profile library
Save successful roast profiles as production references. MYGR brings the profile, process events and available machine controls into one PC-based coffee roasting software environment.
Connected production
Where the machine and auxiliary equipment are configured for it, MYGR can coordinate selected handling events from green coffee loading and charge through drop and cooling.
Production intelligence
Recorded batch data creates a traceable production history for roast review, comparison and operational reporting. Teams can use consistent records to investigate deviations, compare repeated profiles and support production planning.
Reporting depth and available fields depend on the configured system and connected data sources.
Understand the scope
Observes and records the roast. It may display curves and events without controlling the machine.
Connects monitoring and profile recording with selected coffee roasting process control and repeatable execution.
Extends beyond the roaster to green coffee transport, storage, destoning, blending, conveying and other facility processes.
An open production workflow
MYGR is the GARANTİ profile roasting and machine-control environment. Connections or workflows involving third-party software such as Artisan or Cropster depend on the roaster, interfaces, protocol support, software version and project configuration.
Tell our team which software is part of your existing workflow so compatibility can be reviewed before your system is specified.
Learn on the system
GARANTİ Roasters also supports business-focused coffee roasting education at the RoastingWorks Campus in Izmir. Small-group training with SCA Authorized Trainer Sinem UMSU connects roast science, sensory evaluation and production decisions with practical work on the 6 kg FOCHA roaster and MYGR profile roasting system.
Questions and answers
Coffee roaster automation is the digital monitoring, control, recording and repeatable execution of selected coffee roasting processes. It can include roast profile recording, burner and airflow control, drum-speed control and automated functions such as loading, charging, dropping and cooling. It does not necessarily mean robotic or unattended roasting.
MYGR supports manual, semi-automatic and, on suitably configured machines, automatic profile roasting. The available level of automation depends on the machine, sensors, actuators and connected equipment.
MYGR includes AI-assisted forecasting within its predictive process workflow. It uses an operator-established profile together with live roasting data to estimate how the process is expected to progress.
Live roast measurements are evaluated in the context of the selected reference profile. The resulting forecast supports the repeatable execution of the process developed by the operator.
Predictive coffee roasting uses current process data and an established roast profile to forecast the likely continuation of the batch, helping the operator and control system respond consistently.
No. In the MYGR workflow, the operator develops and establishes the desired roast profile. AI-assisted processing supports forecasting and repeatable execution; it does not decide the desired product outcome.
Yes. MYGR can save a successful roast profile and use it as the reference for repeated production, with the available level of machine control determined by system configuration.
Yes. Operators can roast manually while MYGR monitors and records the process, making manual production and profile development part of the same workflow.
In semi-automatic profile roasting, MYGR follows an established profile and controls selected functions while the operator retains defined decisions and supervises the batch.
Automatic loading, charge, drop and cooling can be included where the roaster and connected equipment are configured for these functions.
Depending on configuration, MYGR can control parameters and events such as burner or flame level, airflow, drum speed, charge, drop and cooling.
Logging records and visualizes the roast. Automation connects this information to selected machine controls and repeatable process execution.
No. Automation supports the roaster with monitoring, repeatability and process control. The operator remains responsible for product goals, profile development, quality decisions and oversight.
Possible third-party workflows depend on the machine, interface, protocol, software version and project configuration. Compatibility should be confirmed during system specification.
