01 OFFICIAL CHANNEL

Warranty Support

Warranty claims and supporting technical documentation must be submitted through the official GARANTİ Roasters technical support channel.

What is covered?
  • Mechanical components of the machine are covered during the applicable warranty period, excluding motors and heating elements.
  • A mechanical component confirmed to be defective under warranty may be repaired or replaced following technical inspection by GARANTİ Roasters.
  • Electrical and electronic components obtained from external manufacturers or suppliers are evaluated in accordance with the applicable warranty conditions of their original manufacturer or supplier.
  • Where applicable, the period during which the machine cannot be used due to an accepted warranty repair is added to the warranty period of the relevant mechanical component.
When does the warranty begin?

The warranty begins on the date shown on the factory sales document or sales invoice issued by GARANTİ Roasters.

Shipment, installation, commissioning or first-use dates do not alter the warranty start date unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.

Installation and commissioning requirements

Installation, utility connections and operation must comply with the technical documentation, site preparation requirements and written instructions supplied by GARANTİ Roasters.

Where authorised commissioning is included in the scope of supply, damage resulting from operating the machine before official commissioning or before written authorisation to operate may be excluded from warranty coverage.

This requirement does not alter the warranty start date.

Conditions for maintaining warranty coverage
  • The machine must be operated for its intended purpose and within its specified capacity and operating limits.
  • Electrical, gas, chimney, ventilation, grounding, compressed-air and other site connections must comply with the machine’s technical requirements.
  • Required cleaning, inspection and preventive maintenance procedures must be completed at the specified intervals.
  • Machine identification plates, labels and serial numbers must remain present, legible and unaltered.
  • No repair, modification, adjustment, software intervention or component replacement may be carried out without written authorisation from GARANTİ Roasters.
  • When a fault may create a safety risk or cause further damage, the machine must be stopped and must not be operated again until technical guidance is provided.
What is not covered?
  • Improper operation, operator error or use outside the specified capacity, temperature, pressure or operating limits.
  • Failure to complete the required cleaning and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Incorrect electrical supply, voltage, phase sequence, grounding, gas pressure, regulator setup, chimney, ventilation, compressed-air supply or other unsuitable site conditions.
  • Unauthorised repair, modification, adjustment, software intervention or replacement of components.
  • Use of non-approved third-party parts, accessories, equipment or software.
  • Damage caused during transportation, lifting, storage, relocation, loading, unloading or unsuitable packaging.
  • Damage caused by excessive moisture, water, dust, corrosive chemicals, unsuitable ambient temperature or inadequate ventilation.
  • Damage caused by fire, flooding, lightning, earthquake, storm or other external events beyond the manufacturer’s control.
  • Normal wear, cosmetic deterioration, surface discolouration or operating characteristics that do not prevent the machine from performing its intended function.
  • Additional or secondary damage caused by continued operation after a known fault, alarm or safety warning.
  • Damage associated with a removed, altered, damaged or illegible serial number or machine identification plate.
Costs not included in the warranty

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the warranty does not cover:

  • Production loss, downtime, loss of revenue or loss of profit.
  • Loss of customers, orders, contracts or other business opportunities.
  • Freight, transport, courier, insurance and customs expenses.
  • Dismantling, packaging, loading, unloading, reinstallation or recommissioning costs.
  • Labour, service or spare parts supplied by an unauthorised third party.
  • Travel, accommodation and on-site service costs unless expressly approved in writing by GARANTİ Roasters.
How to submit a warranty claim

A warranty claim must be submitted within the applicable warranty period through the official technical support channel.

The claim should include the following information:

  • Customer name and company information.
  • Contact details.
  • Machine model and serial number.
  • Sales invoice, factory sales document or order reference.
  • Country, city and full installation address of the machine.
  • Date on which the fault was first observed.
  • A clear and detailed description of the fault.
  • Alarm messages, alarm history or error codes, where applicable.
  • Relevant photographs and videos showing the reported issue.
  • Batch size, operating conditions and product being processed when the fault occurred.
  • Requested electrical, gas, air-pressure, chimney or ventilation measurements.
  • Available maintenance, inspection and cleaning records.
  • Information regarding any previous repair, adjustment or technical intervention.

GARANTİ Roasters may request additional information or documentation. The technical evaluation process begins after the requested information has been received.

What to do after identifying a fault

Where continued operation may create a safety risk, worsen the existing fault or cause damage to other components, the customer must:

  • Stop the machine safely.
  • Shut off electrical and gas supplies in accordance with the applicable safety procedures.
  • Avoid restarting the machine without technical authorisation.
  • Contact the GARANTİ Roasters technical support team.

Secondary damage caused by continued operation after a known fault may be excluded from warranty coverage.

Remote diagnosis and technical inspection

GARANTİ Roasters may initially evaluate a reported fault through:

  • Photographs and videos.
  • Live video support.
  • Alarm records and screen images.
  • Electrical, gas or pressure measurements.
  • Maintenance and cleaning checks.
  • Remote software access, where available.
  • Visual inspection of specified components.

An initial remote technical opinion does not constitute final acceptance of the claim under warranty. Final coverage is determined after the cause of the fault has been technically evaluated.

Unauthorised intervention

Without prior written authorisation from GARANTİ Roasters, customers must not:

  • Dismantle the machine or defective assembly.
  • Intervene in the electrical panel.
  • Modify PLC, HMI, computer or automation settings.
  • Alter burner, gas valve, combustion or safety settings.
  • Appoint a third-party technician or service provider.
  • Repair, modify or replace a component.
  • Install, remove or modify machine software.

Specific checks requested by the GARANTİ Roasters service team may be carried out only in accordance with the recorded or written technical instructions provided.

Unauthorised intervention may result in rejection of the warranty claim for the affected component and for damage caused by that intervention.

Sending a product or component for inspection

Where physical inspection is required, GARANTİ Roasters will provide written instructions regarding:

  • The product or component to be sent.
  • The approved delivery address.
  • Safe dismantling instructions.
  • Packaging requirements.
  • The applicable service or shipment reference.
  • Necessary customs and courier information.

Products or components must not be shipped without written authorisation. GARANTİ Roasters cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, storage charges, customs costs or other expenses arising from an unauthorised shipment.

How warranty coverage is determined

Warranty coverage is determined by evaluating:

  • The nature and technical cause of the fault.
  • The serial number and manufacturing records.
  • Installation and commissioning conditions.
  • Electrical, gas, chimney and site infrastructure.
  • Operating conditions and production capacity.
  • Maintenance, inspection and cleaning records.
  • Previous repairs or technical interventions.
  • The physical condition of the defective component.
  • Normal wear and expected service life.
  • Compliance with the operating and maintenance documentation.

After completing the technical assessment, GARANTİ Roasters will notify the customer in writing whether the claim is:

  • Accepted under warranty.
  • Partially accepted under warranty.
  • Rejected as outside the warranty scope.
Requests outside warranty coverage

Where a fault is determined to be outside warranty coverage, GARANTİ Roasters may provide a paid quotation that includes:

  • Spare parts.
  • Labour.
  • Remote technical support.
  • On-site service.
  • Travel and accommodation.
  • Transport and insurance.
  • Customs and import expenses.
  • Installation or recommissioning services.

No paid repair or component replacement will be carried out without the customer’s written approval.
